SCAPEGOATING

BUSH GETS CALLED FOR BLAMING DEMOCRATS FOR IRAQ

There are times when a commentator hits a truth nail squarely on the head and then hammers it home so compellingly that one is left speechless by the razor sharpness of his mind.

One such time was last evening.

It’s been clear for awhile that George Bush knows the war in Iraq was a mistake…and he and his people have been looking for someone or something to blame. In a word – a scapegoat.

The word has its origins back in biblical times – you can find it in the Old Testament book of Leviticus. Some scribe or other told a tale of woe in which he intoned the following: “And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness”. Bush did this when he had an underling blame Hilary Clinton for undermining troop morale in Iraq by advocating a timetable for withdrawal.

Mr. Bush would like Hilary and the American people to take responsibility for the looming failure in Iraq…but there are still some in the U.S. withe the courage to speak out.

The commentator is an articulate man,Olbermann  by the name of Keith Olberman, who broadcasts on MSNBC from Los Angeles. On Thursday, April11_sharon_bush Olberman reminded George Bush that He- George W. Bush has no business attempting to “scapegoat” anyone.

It’s Bush’s War

  1. On the bright side, Jim, Bush is undergoing a colonoscopy tomorrow. (Of course, drilling through his skull to insert the camera might take a while. Which brings us to the bad news: Cheney will be in charge.)

Yes, it’s Bush’s war. But the Democrats are eagerly waiting to run it for him, that’s IF they get elected which is no sure thing.
If Pelosi meant business about the Bush admin, impeachment proceedings would be up and running by now. Instead, they’re “not on the table”…. jeez, they even talk like each other.
This is what happens when war-profiteers run your country.
    Canada, watch out!

  3. jim says:

Yes to both of you…apparently the skull-entry surgery worked and doctors found no need to change the waste outlet in his face.
As for the profiteers running our country…I’d they are now in charge, under the leadership of an idiot P.M. and a senile Defence Minister…not to mention the incompetent and terminally dense Foreign Minister.
We have 10 billion worth of non-effective, exotic fighter jets on order, 3 billion worth of non-ice-breaking arctic patrol ships on order and we’re spending a billion a year fighting a non war in a place we don’t belong.
    Go figure

When I read the headlines the other day re the Bush probe I was LMAO (learned that one from Jim) and could hardly wait to see Jon Stewart and Colbert take on that one. Comic relief at it’s finest involving assholes. He probably got the pollops from Condi’s head being too far up there for too long. I love Olberman and he does have guts and has been threatened a few times as he doesn’t mince words. Never been sued so he must be bang on. Keep up the great blog site Jim, I love tuning in.

It’s skullduggery any way you look at it!

  6. Roger Ryan says:

    Jim
You hit the nail on the head. Trying to blame Hilary just show how stupid Bush is. Bush made the decision to invade Iraq not Hilary.

  7. jim says:

Bush and Khamenei 2 dangerous men.
