Thomas L. Friedman: A Fatuous Column

AMERICAN ARROGANCE TRULY KNOWS NO BOUNDS

How this person became an “influential” columnist is beyond me.

But wait. I keep forgetting he’s in America…land of the free and home of the brave, Hollywood and Old Broadway – where odd things happen and fiction can become truth in a flash.

I really hate myself for dissing another political writer, but Friendman’s latest column is such a shitissueofshit that I simply can’t avoid it.

Here’s a brief quote from the column of crap…and if you have the stomach for it…you can click on the link below and read the rest.

Many big bad things happen in the world without America, but not a lot of big good things. If we become weak and enfeebled by economic decline and debt, as we slowly are, America may not be able to play its historic stabilizing role in the world.

Don’t hate yourself for dissing a useless, intellectually dishonest, plainly stupid idiot like Friedman.

It’s kind of ironic, though, that one of the things creating such great economic decline and debt for the USA is the Iraq war, for which Friedman was a major cheerleader. I’m sure it’ll turn around in just six months, though…

Yes I recall his “closely reasoned” analysis at the time. Perhaps it’s not so much dishonesty as it is ignorance…or that other ancy noun…arrogance…

    thanks

You too can write like Thomas Friedman:

It is pretty sad when there is a template online for what you are paid big bucks to produce.

  4. Jim says:

Gee Rob that’s quite amazing…I had no idea.
