Thanks for the clip, it reminds us that America is not quite yet a lost cause.
But I have my fears about Canada.
I posted today on CBC about the recent suicide-bombings in Iraq, and on balance received significant disapproval and I am mystified as to why, other than realising that all people who can write are not necessarily thinkers.

USA and Obama have the solution but not the backbone: the authors and backers of his country’s illegal and immoral invasion of Iraq are still roaming free when they should be facing serious charges.

THAT’S what US should be preoccupied with, it would help their world image immeasurably.

As I understand, Saddam Hussein kept AlQaeda out of Iraq so USA has to bear much of the blame for this horrible situation.

Obama publicly pondering more troops for Pakistan only makes a bad situation worse.

Hmmm…I think the backbone is there…but the fear is that if he does what’s right and proper…his backbone will be broken.
