Canafanabama: Google Gallup Gospel

Six in 10 Democrats say Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama should continue their presidential campaigns, the Gallup Poll has found.

"Of the minority who would like to see either Clinton or Obama drop out and concede the nomination,” Gallup’s Jeff Jones notes, " more call for Clinton to step down than Obama.”

So I hit the research-trail. It’s cheering that Google finds the good and positive mostly outweighs the bad and ugly as far as posted references go.

When I looked up Truth in millions compared to Lies for instance, Truth wins 238-137. Likewise Health whomps  sickness by 1280 to 31. Wisdom compared to stupidity comes in at a robust 895-18.

One worrying departure is War (791) to Peace (334).

What followed had me wondering, is this the new Gospel according to Google?

I googled "F*** off Obama" then "F*** off Hillary". The results in millions were  308 to 380 or 23% more for Clinton, an advantage of 8.1% to Obama.

Next I averaged current polling from RCP, Gallup, Rasmussen, Newsweek, USA Today and ABC which gave a 7.92% lead to Obama.

Whew! This revolutionary methodology is accurate to 1.02%!

Advice to politicians: listen closely to people when they get cross and use the f-word.

Sherry…I think it’s time for you to start thinking about guest authoring as well. We are developing a “meeting of minds” forum and it has a good feel to it. L.A. brings a fresh invigorating approach to the issues we are interested in. And my feeling is that there are millions more like us!
